Pasadena, CA (SportsNetwork. Montravius Adams Jersey .com) - Kevin Hogan threw two touchdown passes to lead a balanced offensive attack as Stanford knocked off No. 9 UCLA with a 31-10 victory. Hogan completed 16-of-19 passes for 234 yards, Remound Wright rushed for 64 yards and two scores on 15 carries, and Devon Cajuste and Michael Rector each hauled in a TD pass for Stanford (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12), which has won seven straight games against UCLA. Brett Hundley threw for 146 yards and a score on 17-of-32 passing for the Bruins (9-3, 6-3), who had a five-game winning streak come to an end. UCLA would have clinched the Pac-12 South title with a victory, but now Arizona, which defeated Arizona State by a 42-35 score on Friday game will represent the division against Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game on Dec. 5. Thomas Duarte made four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown and Paul Perkins ran for 116 yards on 17 carries for the Bruins. Kaimi Fairbairn booted a 42-yard field goal to give UCLA a 10-7 edge early in the second quarter. For the second time in the game, Stanford answered the UCLA score with a touchdown on its ensuing drive. Wrights 3-yard run on third down moved the Cardinal to midfield, Hogan hit Cajuste for a 13-yard pickup, and Rectors 22- yard grab allowed Stanford to take a 14-10 lead with 6:24 remaining in the first half. The Cardinal made it a 20-10 game heading into halftime after Hogan lofted a 37-yard TD pass to Cajuste, who reached over a defender in the end zone to make the catch with 41 seconds to play before the break. Stanford continued to push the pace on its first possession of the second half. Wright ran for 27 yards, Hogan followed with a 16-yard keeper, and Christian McCaffrey took off for a 29-yard burst down the right sideline to the UCLA 6. Wright plowed through the line on third down for a 2-yard score and a 28-10 lead. UCLA lined up for a field goal on 4th-and-5 at the Stanford 30, but the Bruins, instead, ran a trick play. Jerry Neuheisel took the snap, but had his pass intercepted by Jordan Richards on a jump ball in the end zone for a touchback late in the third. The turnover led to points as Jordan Williamson capped a 10-play, 63-yard trek with a 34-yard field goal for a 31-10 lead with 10:40 remaining. After Stanford went three-and-out to start the game, UCLA went 64 yards in five plays on its opening drive for an early score. Hundley hit Duarte for a 21-yard gain down the right side, Devin Fuller went 14 yards on a screen pass and Duarte hauled in a 15-yard dart and bulldozed into the end zone. The Cardinal, however, answered right back. Hogan completed passes of 21 and 25 yards apiece to McCaffrey and Austin Hooper, respectively, to move his team deep into Bruins territory. Hooper caught a 13-yard pass to give Stanford a fresh set of downs at the 12-yard line, and Wright ran in from a yard out for a tie game with six minutes to play in the opening stanza. Skill and strength. Creative vision and clinical finishing. Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli are a study in contrasts on the football pitch. And off it. Together, they provide Italy with two distinct weapons and on Saturday both players stood out in a 2-1 win over England at the World Cup. Pirlo set up Italys opening goal without even touching the ball and Balotelli headed in the winner early in the second half. "We take our hats off to their skill," England coach Roy Hodgson said. It was an evening reminiscent of the 2012 European Championship, when Pirlo and Balotelli combined to lead Italy to the final of the European Championship. This time, after a few errant passes from Pirlo, the midfield maestro broke open the match by stepping over a cross and fooling the England defenders to let Claudio Marchisio fire in from long-range in the 34th minute. "Pirlo is a player who can add quality in every area of the pitch," Italy coach Cesare Prandelli said. "Whether its a tight triangle, going far forward or whatever, he can handle himself in any area." At 35, Pirlo is a veteran of the Italy squad that won the 2006 title. Modest and quiet, his personality couldnt be farther from the brashness that the 23-year-old Balotelli displays. After England equalized two minutes later, Balotelli showed his nose for goal by attempting a sharply angled lob shot after drawing goalkeeper Joe Hart out of position in first-half added time. England defender Phil Jagielka headed away the danger but that only seemed to increase Balotellis appetite. Five minutes into the second half, the AC Milan forward finally found the target, leaping over Gary Cahill to head in by the far post following superb work down the right flank and a perfect cross from Antonio Candreva. Vince Biegel Womens Jersey. . "Im really happy. Its a special feeling," said Balotelli, who proposed to his Belgian girlfriend a few days ago. "Ive never played in a World Cup and its fantastic. I dedicate this victory to my future wife, who is here, to my family, and to my friends." Balotelli hadnt scored for Italy since October but the enigmatic striker now has 13 goals in 30 appearances for the Azzurri and has silenced any doubts about his lineup status. Ciro Immobile had been pushing Balotelli for the centre forward spot after leading Serie A with 22 goals and a hat trick in a warmup match last week against top-flight Brazilian club Fluminense. "I think he can score many more," Prandelli said. "Ive said it before. (Balotelli) has enormous potential. He needs to convince himself that his movements up front are decisive enough to finish actions. He gave everything he had but Im convinced he has margins for improvement." When Immobile replaced Balotelli in the 73rd, the crowd at the Arena Amazonia showered him with a loud applause. And when the final whistle blew, Balotelli put his finger to his lips as if to silence the criticism he routinely faces. Then he winked to a TV camera. Born in Sicily to Ghanaian immigrants and raised by Italian foster parents, Balotelli is also subjected to racism constantly back home. Before kickoff Saturday, Balotelli tweeted, "ITALIANS. Whatever squad you support, today there is only the Azzurra squad! Hate, jealousy, contempt, lets put it all aside and ALL be united!" United with Pirlo, Balotelli and Italy are tough to beat.
