Hallo,

Ik gebruik Fedora 7 en heb een vraag. Ik wil mijn Linksys Wireless -G met Speedbooster kaart aan de praat krijgen. Maar dat lukt niet. Ik heb het al geprobeerd met Ndiswrapper volgens de volgende tutorial: http://wiki.nedlinux.nl/index.php?page=NDISWrapper

Kan iemand mij helpen?

Ik heb verschillende problemen gehad met USB-nic (DWL-G122 B1) in Fedora7.
Uiteindelijk werkt het met de "natief" driver/module van Fedora7.

Dus ik vermoed dat dit bij jou ook zo wel zou kunnen zijn.

Het bestand waar jij naar vraagt, bestaat bij mij niet. Kan je me trouwens helpen met het uitpakken v/d bestanden van van die tarbal op de site waar je naar verwees? Het lukt mij niet om de boel uit te pakken. Alvast bedankt.

Wat is het product ID van je netwerkkaart?

Hoe doe je je configuratie van je netwerk? via X ?

uitpakken van tarball : tar -zxvf foo (z voor een gzip, j voor een bzip)
kijk ook eens naar "man tar" (in te typen in terminal window)

Typ dan gelijk ook ff het volgende in de commandline in en laat ff zien wat de output is:

Het gaat even om de chipset die erop zit. Veel wireless kaarten zijn wel ondersteunt door Linux maar niet standaard door de distro. Er zijn vast wel native drivers. Om deze te vinden heb ik even je chipset nodig.
